What To Do If You Did Not Receive Your SASSA Grants

Due to the lockdown because of the global virus pandemic in the country the agency responsible for social grants, SASSA, has to stop so many of its services to the public.

SASSA has been attending to emergency services such as the Relief package in the form of food parcels to qualifying applicants.

But some people still need to have access to some essential services for example issues regarding their SASSA cards.

Others, such as those with disability grants, have to renew their expired grants in order to continue accessing the SASSA grants.

There has been calls by cross section of the public that all SASSA services are essential and must therefore be allowed to work fully during the lockdown.

After several enquiries from SASSA and the South Africa Post Office (SAPO), it has come to light that, all issues corning SASSA card can be lodged at the offices of SAPO.

For those who want to register their babies and those who want apply for Identity Documents (ID) can visit the Home Affairs offices nationwide.

Those who have so far not received their grants despite the fact that SASSA has generally made payments to respective beneficiaries can contact SASSA either by the following:
1. Call 0800601011 (Toll Free)
2. E-mail: grantenquiries@sassa.gov.za
3. Send direct message (DM) to SASSA on Twitter or Facebook with the necessary documents.
