NSFAS To Introduce A New USSD Code To Manage Wallet.

The National Students Financial Assistant Scheme (NSFAS) set to introduce a new short code or USSD code to help some selected TVET colleges across the country to help them manage their nsfas wallet. This move is help accelerate and make it easier for these users to manage their wallet even if they do not have a smartphone or a tablet.

This new functionality is to help these TVET College students who usually spend their Nsfas allowances using the NSFAS wallet.

The short code will be functional starting 1st of July, 2020.

The short that will henceforth be used is *120*176#. By this new arrangement, the old shortcode or USSD *134*176# will no longer be used to manage their wallet.

The other online platform is also still available and functional and those who wish to use them can have full access to the platform. The platform available for use by all users and the link is found below.

Users pfthe NSFAS wallet have the ability to shop or transact ant an any of the following shops or paypoints:

  • Shoprite
  • Usave
  • Checkers
  • SPAR
  • Choppies
  • Pick ‘n’ Pay
  • Van Schaik
  • Nando’s
  • Romans Pizza
  • McDonalds
  • Burger King
  • Spur
  • Hungry Lion
  • Debonairs
  • Rocomamas
  • John Dorys
