When you visit their site, there are four approaches namely:

  • By scanning a QR code that will automatically add you the ChatBack WhatsApp Platform
  • By clicking on a predefined link with WhatsApp code embedded.
  • By sending “Renew” to the SMS short code 41555
  • Or Manually adding the Chatback WhatsApp Number +27662026685

After getting in contact with them through the Whats App Platform, follow these four simple steps to get started and sorted.

  1. Applicant must submit his or her Registration Number( You must have access to your ID book in order to complete your renewal process
  2. You will get a quote or price and payment must be paid through PayFast payment platform.
  3. Delivery address and Documentation. The applicant is required to provide a copy of or photo of ID document, proof of residence and the delivery address where it will be delivered picked from. There is fixed delivery and service charge of R199. This services are currently only available for people of Gauteng and the Western Cape Provinces.
  4. The Applicant can now check the status of his or application by sending “status” on the WhatsApp platform. This can be done if all payment are made and in full.

  • The applicant has 21 days to renew your expiry vehicle licence without paying any penalties whatsoever.
  • The Chatback platform will send a notification to their customers when their licence is about to expire.
  • You can send the keyword “Help” when facing any challeging in accessing the app.
  • Depending on the situation, the applicant may be asked to submit vehicle tare weight and licence expiry date.
